Toyota has unveiled the revamped Innova EV concept at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025 in Jakarta. First showcased in 2022, the electric MPV now features design tweaks and new details about its powertrain.

The Innova EV is powered by a robust 59.3kWh lithium-ion battery pack, delivering an impressive 179hp and a staggering 700Nm of torque. While Toyota has confirmed compatibility with both AC and DC charging, the official driving range remains undisclosed.
In terms of design, the 2025 Innova EV takes a bold step away from its diesel-powered counterpart, the Innova Crysta. The front features a nearly closed-off grille, angular headlights connected by a sleek light strip, and refreshed LED signatures. A blue-accented Toyota badge further emphasizes its electric identity. The side profile is accentuated with blue and grey decals, blacked-out pillars, and new 16-inch alloy wheels, while the rear showcases translucent, connected LED tail-lamps with distinctive blue highlights and ‘BEV’ badging.
Inside, the cabin retains some familiarity with the Innova Crysta but introduces key EV-specific upgrades. A flat floor, thanks to the underfloor battery placement, enhances space for rear passengers. Dual-tone upholstery, a digital driver display, and electric blue accents set it apart. Luxury features include a large infotainment system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, captain seats in the second row, wireless charging, and ambient lighting.
