The much-awaited Tata Sierra has been spotted testing on Indian roads following its recent debut at Auto Expo 2025. Set to launch by the end of the year, the Sierra retains its iconic design cues while integrating modern features.

The test mule appears to be the ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) variant, as evident from the air intake in the lower bumper—unlike the Sierra EV, which features a sealed-off front fascia. The SUV, though camouflaged, showcases a split headlamp setup, a connected LED light bar at the rear, and steel wheels (top trims will likely get 19-inch alloys).

Sierra Design

Staying true to its heritage, the new Sierra features:

Curved-over rear-side windows
High-set bonnet
Squared-out wheel arches

These elements pay homage to the original Tata Sierra, making it a head-turner on Indian roads.

Expected Engine Options

Tata Motors is yet to reveal detailed specs, but the ICE-powered Sierra is expected to come with:
🔹 1.5L turbo-petrol (170hp, 280Nm)
🔹 2.0L diesel (170hp, 350Nm) – same as the Harrier and Safari

With its classic design, modern features, and powerful engine options, the Tata Sierra 2025 is set to make a grand comeback.
