Tata Motors Limited reported total sales of 42,940 units across domestic and international markets in February 2026, marking a 32% year-on-year (YoY) increase compared to 32,533 units in February 2025, according to a press release issued under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
Domestic sales during the month stood at 40,893 units, up 32.8% from 30,797 units in the same period last year. International business contributed 2,047 units, reflecting a 17.9% YoY growth compared to 1,736 units in February 2025.
In the heavy commercial vehicle segment, HCV truck sales rose to 13,559 units from 9,892 units, registering a growth of 37.1%. ILMCV truck sales increased to 7,577 units from 5,652 units, reflecting a 34.1% rise. Passenger carrier sales stood at 5,548 units compared to 4,355 units a year earlier, up 27.4%. The SCV cargo and pickup segment recorded sales of 14,209 units, up 30.4% from 10,898 units in February 2025.
Domestic sales of MH&ICV in February 2026 were 21,423 units, compared to 15,940 units in February 2025, representing a 34.4% YoY increase. Combined domestic and international sales of MH&ICV stood at 22,512 units, up 34.9% from 16,693 units in the corresponding month last year.
