Tata Curvv EV and Curvv teased ahead of launch; Check out new features

A new teaser for Tata Motors’ two forthcoming Curvv and Curvv EV models has been revealed. The latest teaser features the SUVs in the high temperatures of Ladakh, whereas the previous one showed them being tested in the scorching Thar desert. In addition, a couple of the Curvv siblings’ features can be seen in the latest teaser.

The teaser shows a completely digital driver’s display, which is likely to be the same 10.25-inch panel used in the Tata Nexon EV. There is also a lane-keep assist function on the driver’s display, revealing that the Curvv EV would include certain advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), including adaptive cruise control and collision avoidance assistance.

Paddle shifters that allow for manual transmission control are seen on the Curvv. Additionally, a rotary dial for switching between driving modes is offered. Three drive modes—City, Sport and Eco—are shown in the video.

The Curvv EV and Curvv engines have not yet been revealed. However, since the EV would be based on Tata’s Acti.ev platform, it is expected that it will come with a choice of two battery packs with a claimed range of about 500 kilometres.

Six airbags, rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat mounts and electronic stability control (ESC) are among the safety features available for the Curvv duo.
