SMI Isuzu reports 33.8% decline in total sales in December 2024

SMI Isuzu Ltd has reported a notable decline in vehicle sales for December 2024, with a 33.8% drop in total sales compared to the same period in 2023. The company sold a total of 626 units, down from 946 units in December 2023.

Cargo Vehicles: December sales for cargo vehicles decreased by 38.4%, with only 262 units sold compared to 425 units the previous year.

Passenger Vehicles: Similarly, passenger vehicle sales saw a decline of 30.1%, dropping from 521 units in December 2023 to 364 units this year.

Year-to-Date Sales (April-December): Overall sales for the year show only a slight decline of 0.1% compared to the same period last year, signaling relative stability despite the December downturn.

In the meantime, SMI Isuzu shares opened at 1,394.40 and reached a high of 1,450.00, with a low of 1,394.40 during the trading session. The stock’s 52-week high is 2,480.00, while its 52-week low stands at 1,233.85.
