Porsche Cayenne GTS, Cayenne GTS Coupe launched in India; Check out prices and key features

Porsche has unveiled the modified Cayenne GTS and Cayenne GTS coupe in India, priced at Rs 2 crore and Rs 2.01 crore, respectively (all prices ex-showroom). Announced in April 2024, the performance SUVs have received several types of technical and cosmetic modifications, and they now produce significantly greater power than their predecessors.

Porsche Cayenne GTS and Cayenne GTS Coupe Features

The GTS series is powered by a 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine that has been modified to provide greater power than its predecessor – 40PS and 40Nm, specifically. Therefore, the power output is rated at 500PS and 660Nm, respectively.

Porsche has also made changes to the eight-speed automatic transmission, which now offers “shorter response and shift times in Sport and Sport Plus modes”.

Subtle cosmetic changes to the Cayenne GTS and GTS Coupe include dark bronze exhaust tips, black finished elements and slightly modified front and rear ends. New alloy 21-inch RS Spyder wheels are also included. It is claimed that one of the three options, the Sport Design package, may reduce the GTS’s weight by up to 25 kg.

The interior maintains its well-known configuration with a 12.6-inch driver display and a 12.3-inch centre information hub. An optional 10.9-inch co-passenger display is also offered.

AWD system

According to the German manufacturer, the GTS also has an updated transfer box for the all-wheel drive system, as well as a ‘water cooling circuit’ borrowed from the Turbo GT to help ‘stabilise continuous load capacity’ when driving on the racetrack.
