Oben Electric is set to make waves in the electric motorcycle market with the teaser release of its next model, the Oben Rorr EZ. Scheduled for launch on November 7, 2024, the Rorr EZ promises to be an affordable and efficient commuter motorcycle.
The Oben Rorr EZ is designed with high-performance Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery technology, ensuring reliability and longevity. Oben Electric has focused on developing its own critical components, including batteries, motors, vehicle control units, and fast chargers, setting a strong foundation for this upcoming model.
The Rorr EZ will feature an 8 kW (10.7 bhp) mid-drive motor, paired with a 4.4 kWh battery pack. This combination offers impressive performance metrics, similar to its predecessor, the Oben Rorr. The bike boasts an impressive range of 187 km (IDC) on a single charge and achieves a top speed of 100 km/h. It can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3 seconds, making it an agile choice for urban commuting.
The motorcycle is equipped with ride vitals, remote diagnostics, geofencing, and a driver alert system, enhancing safety and convenience for riders.
