Nissan launches X-Trail in India at Rs 49.92 lakh

Nissan Motor India recently unveiled its flagship SUV, the X-Trail, in the Indian market for ₹49.92 lakh ex-showroom. The SUV will only be offered in a single variant and comes as a Completely Built Unit. Nearly ten years after its debut, the Nissan X-Trail is back in the Indian market.

The X-Trail is a three-row sport utility vehicle that can carry up to seven passengers. Its measurements are 4,680 mm long, 1,840 mm wide and 1,725 mm high. The vehicle comes with a wheelbase of 2,705 mm and a ground clearance of 210mm.

The Nissan X-Trail will come with LED headlights with DRLs, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, dual-zone temperature control, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, cruise control, a speed limiter and a 360-degree camera. In addition, the SUV will include a 12.3-inch digital instrument dashboard, an 8-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, front and rear parking sensors, keyless entry, numerous driving modes, wireless charging and a host of other features.

The 1.5-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine found in the Nissan X-Trail is mechanically powered by a CVT transmission and paddle shifters. This motor is equipped with a mild hybrid technology to improve performance and efficiency, and it is expected to produce 161bhp and 300 Nm of peak torque.
