The new-generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire, launched in India in November last year, has received its first price hike. The sub-four-metre sedan, known for its reliability and fuel efficiency, now sees an increase of up to Rs. 10,000 depending on the variant.
The VXi AMT and ZXi AMT variants have witnessed the highest price hike of Rs. 10,000. Meanwhile, the ZXi+ AMT, ZXi CNG MT, VXi CNG MT, VXi MT, and LXi MT variants have received a uniform price increase of Rs. 5,000. Interestingly, the price of the ZXi+ MT variant remains unchanged.
Following this revision, the Maruti Dzire is now priced between Rs. 6.84 lakh and Rs. 10.19 lakh (ex-showroom). Despite the price adjustment, the Dzire remains a strong competitor in its segment, taking on rivals like the Hyundai Aura and Honda Amaze.
Notably, the fourth-gen Dzire recently achieved top honors in the BNCAP crash test, further strengthening its appeal among buyers prioritizing safety. With its balance of affordability, features, and safety, the Dzire continues to be a popular choice for Indian car buyers.
