Mercedes-AMG has recently revealed the PureSpeed, the first model under its exclusive Mythos series. Limited to just 250 units globally, the production-spec PureSpeed remains true to its concept revealed in May 2024, offering an extraordinary blend of performance and design.
Based on the AMG SL 63 4Matic platform, the PureSpeed adopts a unique identity. It replaces the Panamericana grille with a shark-nose design, aggressive aero elements, and an extended rear deck. Key features include prominent rear buttresses housing rollover bars, vented bodywork, and an F1-inspired Halo device in place of a traditional windshield. This strict two-seater speedster comes with a weather cover for added protection.
Inside, the cabin is luxuriously appointed with carbon fiber, leather, and AMG’s signature portrait touchscreen. Exclusive details like an IWC Schaffhausen dashboard clock, a premium Burmester 1170 W sound system, and an intercom with paired helmets enhance its appeal.
The PureSpeed prioritizes performance with aerodynamic innovations inspired by the AMG GT 63 Pro, including active flaps for enhanced downforce. AMG adaptive suspension, semi-active roll control, and rear-axle steering ensure exceptional handling. Stopping power is delivered by composite brakes with six-piston front and single-piston rear calipers.
