Maruti Suzuki has expanded the Fronx Velocity Edition to include more SUV variants, bringing the total to 14. The Maruti Suzuki Fronx Velocity, which was once only offered with a turbo petrol engine, will soon also be available with naturally aspirated petrol and CNG engines. For a limited time, the Velocity Edition is now available at an affordable cost of ₹7.29 lakh (ex-showroom).
Compared to the standard versions, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx Velocity Edition comes with a lot more features. The grille, wheel arches, headlight and front bumper of the Fronx 1.2 Sigma Velocity are all adorned with red and black details. The Fronx Delta, Delta+ and Delta + (O) Velocity models have red side moulding inserts, an illuminated door sill guard, designer floor mats in red, an upper rear spoiler extension, door visors, an ORVM cover and a tailgate garnish.
The Fronx Delta+ Velocity adds interior accessories like a 3D boot mat, a carbon finish interior styling kit and a NexCross black finish seat cover to the 1.0-liter turbo petrol models while keeping all of the external garnish from the lower trims.
With over 1.5 lakh units sold in just 14 months after its launch, the Fronx has been an enormous success for the carmaker. Approximately 80% of buyers opt for the Fronx’s 1.2-liter petrol engine, which comes with an AMT and a 5-speed manual transmission. The manufacturer also provides a more powerful 1.0-liter Boosterjet with smart hybrid technology, which has a 6-speed torque converter and a 5-speed manual transmission.
