The Mahindra XUV700 SUV is one of the most popular models from the Indian automaker’s lineup. Mahindra’s XUV700 comes in a variety of variants and is available with both petrol and diesel engines. The options include both manual and automatic transmissions.
The Mahindra XUV700 AX7 series will now start at ₹19.49 lakh (ex-showroom) instead of the previous ₹21.54 lakh (ex-showroom), the firm stated on Tuesday.
Mahindra said in a press statement that the new, lower prices for the XUV700 AX7 series are meant to make the models more accessible to a wider range of consumers. The manufacturer, however, states that the new prices are celebratory in nature and will correspond with the model’s three-year anniversary in the nation. As such, these prices are only valid for four months. As part of the anniversary celebrations, two new colour options for the XUV700 have been announced: Deep Forest and Burnt Sienna, bringing the total number of body colours available to nine.
For just a four-month period, the six-seater XUV700 AX7 with a manual petrol gearbox (MT) can be purchased for just ₹19.69 lakh. For ₹20.19 lakh, the diesel six-seater MT is a really attractive option for someone with a somewhat long commute. The price of the six-seater model with automatic transmission (AT) is ₹21.59 lakh for diesel and ₹21.19 lakh for petrol.
While the seven-seater AWD version of the XUV700 AX7 costs ₹22.80 lakh (all prices ex-showroom), the seven-seater models are lower by ₹20,000 for each similar fuel and gearbox choice.
