Mahindra BE 6 achieves impressive 5-star safety rating in Bharat NCAP crash test

The Mahindra BE 6 has earned a remarkable 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP, excelling in both adult and child occupant protection. It scored 31.97 points out of 32 for Adult Occupant Protection (AOP), with the highest AOP score ever awarded by BNCAP, just behind the Mahindra XEV 9e (32/32). The BE 6 showcased excellent protection for the driver’s and passenger’s head, neck, and chest, though it lost points for ‘adequate’ protection to the driver’s knee. In the side movable deformable barrier test, it received a perfect score of 16/16, indicating excellent overall protection.

The BE 6 also excelled in child occupant protection, securing 45/49 points, matching the XEV 9e, Thar Roxx, and Tata Punch EV. It achieved full marks in the dynamic test and CRS installation test, with top-notch performance for both the 18-month-old and 3-year-old child dummies in rearward-facing seats.
