KTM India has introduced the second-generation KTM 250 Adventure, priced at Rs 2.60 lakh (ex-showroom). Built on the same platform as the 2025 390 Adventure and 390 Adventure X, the new 250 Adventure retains the 248cc engine from the Duke 250 but boasts a completely redesigned look, aligning it with its bigger sibling.
Aggressive Design & New Features
The 2025 KTM 250 Adventure now features dual-stacked LED headlights, a tall windscreen, a beak-style front mudguard, and sleek body panels, making it more adventure-ready. The tail section resembles the 390 Adventure, while the exhaust is now underbelly-mounted, replacing the previous side-mounted setup. KTM offers the 250 Adventure in two striking colors – Orange and White.
Performance & Specifications
The bike is powered by a 249cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 30.57 bhp and 25 Nm of peak torque. It comes with a six-speed gearbox, bi-directional quick shifter, slip-and-assist clutch, and ride-by-wire throttle for enhanced performance.
The 250 Adventure features a two-piece steel trellis frame but lacks an aluminum sub-frame. Suspension duties are handled by WP Apex USD forks with 200mm front travel and a preload-adjustable monoshock with 205mm rear travel. It rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, ensuring stability on varied terrains.
Braking & Technology
Braking is managed by a 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS. The off-road mode allows riders to deactivate the rear ABS for better control. The kerb weight stands at 177 kg, and the fuel tank capacity has slightly reduced to 14 litres.
The 250 Adventure is equipped with a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster, featuring smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, making it a tech-savvy choice for adventure enthusiasts.
