KTM India is gearing up to launch the all-new 390 Adventure on November 14, following its global debut at EICMA 2024 in Milan, Italy. The updated model promises significant upgrades in both design and features, setting it apart from the outgoing version. Enthusiasts can expect an aggressive, adventure-ready look, featuring a vertically stacked LED projector headlight, a newly sculpted fuel tank, a raised beak-style front mudguard, a taller windscreen and an upgraded taillamp.
The 390 Adventure is likely to be offered in multiple variants, with the Adventure R version equipped with off-road-friendly spoked wheels, while the Adventure X will come with alloy wheels. These options hint at a versatile lineup aimed at both on-road and off-road riders, though the exact variants for India are yet to be confirmed.
The KTM 390 Adventure R will be equipped with a fully adjustable suspension system, cruise control, cornering ABS and a full-color TFT instrument panel with smartphone and Bluetooth connectivity. The Adventure X will include a non-adjustable suspension and an LCD display.
Regarding the powertrain, the latest 390 Adventure is probably going to be powered by a retuned 399 cc single-cylinder engine that powers the new KTM 390 Duke. This engine produces 45.3 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 39 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm in the Duke. It is connected to a six-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quick-shifter.
