Kia India launches EV9 at Rs 1.29 crore; Check features 

Kia India recently unveiled its second electric vehicle in the Indian market, the EV9. It will cost ₹1.29 crore and remains the brand’s flagship vehicle for now. The GT Line is the only version of the EV9 that Kia is offering.

The Kia EV9 is equipped with an electric motor on the front axle that can provide 378 bhp of maximum power and 700 Nm of peak torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 5.3 seconds.

According to Kia India, the EV9’s 99.8 kWh battery pack will go up to 561 km on a single charge. It offers fast charging up to 350 kW, which allows it to charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 24 minutes.

The Kia EV9 has several safety features, including TPMS, vehicle stability management, multi-collision brakes and 10 airbags.

The Kia EV9 is equipped with shift-by-wire, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, ambient lighting, leatherette seats, automated headlights, LED projector headlamps and DRLs and a smart power tailgate. There are also electric front seat adjustments, massage features, heated and ventilated seats with wing-style headrests for the second row and rear AC vents. Furthermore, Kia has USB Type C ports, three-zone climate control, a heads-up display and a cooled wireless charging.
