Kawasaki W230 makes global debut; Check details

The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Kawasaki is adding new models to its lineup. The company upgraded the models that were already on the market and introduced a few new models around the beginning of 2024. Continuing the trend, they plan to launch a new retro bike named the W230. This model, which carries the DNA of the brand’s W series motorcycles, features a look that represents the heritage of previous machines.

Getting into the specifications, the bike has a classic style with everything designed for a more mature audience. It has a round headlight and round indicators. Furthermore, the fuel tank is painted in a basic pattern of white with black stripes. It also includes several chrome elements, such as headlight bezels, handlebars and exhaust, among other things. All of this comes with wire-spoke 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels.

The motorcycle features round analog dials that display speed, revs and other important data, adding to its classic look and feel. However, the manufacturer added a small digital insert to give it a more modern look. The cluster also has lights that indicate neutral gear, ABS, high beam and other features.

The Kawasaki W230 is powered by a 233 cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine. The company used this same unit in the KLX230 Series.
