Kawasaki India has launched the 2025 Kawasaki Versys 1100 at an ex-showroom price of ₹12.90 lakh. This new sports tourer gets a bigger engine and is priced ₹1 lakh lower than its predecessor while maintaining the same design aesthetics.
Variants & Design
While the global market gets three trims – Base, S, and SE, India will receive only the Standard variant in a Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray with Metallic Diablo Black shade.
Powerful Engine & Performance
The new 1099 cc liquid-cooled, inline 4-cylinder DOHC engine now delivers 133 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 112 Nm torque at 7,600 rpm. A 6-speed return shift transmission with an assist and slipper clutch ensures smooth gear transitions. The heavier flywheel enhances rideability, while an oil cooler maintains optimal engine temperature.
Enhanced Braking & Suspension
Kawasaki has improved braking power with dual 310 mm front discs and a 260 mm rear disc. Suspension duties are handled by inverted front forks with adjustable rebound damping and gas-charged rear shocks with remote preload adjustability. The 21-litre fuel tank supports long-distance touring, and the dry weight of 235 kg adds stability.
Advanced Features & Technology
The Versys 1100 comes equipped with all-LED lighting, an adjustable windscreen, a USB-C socket, and electronic cruise control. Rider-assist features include:
- Kawasaki Corner Management Function
- Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU)
- Triple Mode Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC)
- Electronic Throttle Valves
- Multiple Power Modes & Eco Riding Indication
- Kawasaki Intelligent Anti-Lock Brake System (KIBS)
