Honda has officially started the deliveries of the 2025 CBR650R in India. Priced at ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the middleweight sportbike is available exclusively through Honda BigWing dealerships. This launch aligns with Honda’s strategy to expand its premium motorcycle lineup in India.
Powerful Inline-Four Engine
The new CBR650R is powered by a 649cc, liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder engine, producing 93.8 bhp at 12,000 rpm and 63 Nm of torque at 9,500 rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring an assist and slipper clutch. However, the e-Clutch introduced by Honda in 2023 is not available in the Indian variant.
Sporty & Aggressive Design
The CBR650R draws inspiration from the CBR1000RR Fireblade, featuring a full-fairing design, sharp bodywork, and split LED headlights. Compared to its predecessor, the fairing is more angular, and the rear section has been updated for a sportier look.
