Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India reports 6% YoY growth in sales for January 2025

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has reported impressive sales numbers for January 2025, with total sales reaching 4,44,847 units, marking a 6% year-on-year (YoY) growth. This includes 4,02,977 units in domestic sales and 41,870 units in exports. The company’s domestic sales grew by 5% YoY, while its export sales surged by 14% over the same period last year.

For the year-to-date (YTD) FY25, HMSI’s total sales stand at 49,81,767 units, comprising 45,41,323 domestic units and 4,40,444 export units.

One of the key milestones for Honda in January 2025 was the launch of new OBD2B compliant versions of popular models like Activa, Livo, and Dio. These updated models come equipped with advanced features aimed at enhancing rider experience. In addition, Honda introduced the CB650R and CBR650R to its lineup, catering to performance enthusiasts.

Honda also showcased its innovative products at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Highlights included the unveiling of the all-new ACTIVA e:, QC1, CB300F flex-fuel, and Honda’s Motocompacto electric scooter.
