Honda Cars India recently announced that its popular compact SUV, the Honda Elevate, has reached an impressive milestone of nearly 90,000 units sold. This significant achievement comes just over a year after the SUV’s debut in India in September 2023. The Elevate has quickly gained traction in the highly competitive compact SUV segment, establishing itself as one of the brand’s top-selling models.
Out of the total sales, 50,000 units of the Honda Elevate have been sold in India, with the remaining units being exported to international markets. Notably, the Elevate is the first made-in-India model to be exported to Japan, where it is marketed as the Honda WR-V.
Engine and Performance
The Elevate is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering a balanced performance. It comes paired with a 6-speed manual transmission as well as a CVT automatic option. This engine provides enough power for daily drives while ensuring efficiency, making the Elevate an appealing option for both city and highway driving.
Key Features and Interior
The Honda Elevate boasts a feature-packed interior with premium materials, ample legroom, and a generous boot space. While it doesn’t match some rivals in terms of high-tech features, it provides essential connectivity options like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a touchscreen infotainment system. Additionally, the compact SUV comes equipped with safety features such as six airbags, ABS with EBD, and a rearview camera.
