Hero MotoCorp has finally revealed the much-anticipated Xtreme 250R at the EICMA 2024 trade show in Milan. This all-new street naked motorcycle is set to be the flagship model in the Xtreme series, joining Hero’s growing portfolio of performance-oriented bikes.
The Hero Xtreme 250R features a bold and aggressive design that immediately grabs attention. With sharp, muscular lines and an intimidating stance, it is clear that this bike means business. The LED projector headlamp at the front gives the motorcycle a modern and premium feel, while the tank extensions, reminiscent of the Xtreme 125R, add to its muscular look.
Hero has focused on providing a 50:50 weight distribution, which enhances handling and agility, making the Xtreme 250R ideal for both city rides and spirited outings.
The Xtreme 250R comes equipped with a digital instrumentation unit, offering a modern and user-friendly display. The digital unit includes turn-by-turn navigation, ensuring that riders never lose their way during long rides or city commutes.
Under the sleek exterior, the Hero Xtreme 250R is powered by a 250cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC 4-valve engine. Tuned for performance, this engine produces a maximum power output of 29.5 bhp at 9,250 rpm and a peak torque of 25 Nm at 7,250 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission.
A preload adjustable monoshock at the back and a 43 mm USD fork configuration support the Xtreme 250R. Both ends have disc brakes for braking and there are also switchable ABS modes.
