
Hero MotoCorp is gearing up to reveal its highly anticipated 2023 Xtreme 160R motorcycle on June 14. The automaker has been building excitement around the bike through its social media channels, teasing significant upgrades compared to the outgoing model. Here’s a glimpse of what to expect from the 2023 Hero Xtreme 160R.
The heart of the 2023 Hero Xtreme 160R is rumored to be a 163 cc air-cooled engine, delivering an impressive power output of 14.9 hp and a peak torque of 14Nm. The motorcycle is expected to feature a four-valve engine, designed to enhance overall performance. It may come equipped with up-side or USD forks for the front suspension and a rear monoshock with pre-load adjustability. The braking system is likely to consist of a 276mm petal disc at the front, complemented by single-channel ABS for added safety.
As for the price, the current model of the Hero Xtreme 160R falls in the price range of ₹1.18 lakh to ₹1.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Reports suggest that the 2023 version of the bike may cost ₹8,000 to ₹10,000 more than its predecessor.
Once launched, the updated Hero Xtreme 160R will face tough competition from rivals such as the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and the Yamaha FZS-FI in the highly competitive motorcycle market.
