Hero MotoCorp has filed a design patent for an exciting new motorcycle derived from its Maverick 440. Anticipated to debut at the prestigious EICMA show, this new model could hit the market in the coming months. Hero MotoCorp is also expected to showcase additional motorcycle models at EICMA, giving customers much to look forward to.
It is clear from the picture that the new motorbike will have many of the same elements as the Mavrick 440, with just a few changes. For instance, the handlebar has been changed and is now gets a brace. The headlight and turn indicators will remain the same.
Under the hood, the motorcycle retains the Maverick 440’s 440cc air-oil cooled engine, delivering 27 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 36 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Hero MotoCorp is expected to retune the engine to enhance performance for this variant.
The motorcycle’s whole lighting system will be LED-powered. To enable turn-by-turn navigation, notification alerts and phone battery status, a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity would be available.
