
Nissan Motor India launched the India-spec X-Trail on July 17th in the Indian market. The fourth generation X-Trail will be available as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). After Magnite, the X-Trail will be Nissan’s second product lineup. In India, the Nissan X-Trail will be available in three different colours. Alfonso Albaisa, SVP of Nissan Design, stated that the colour selections were carefully picked. Colours available include Solid White, Diamond Black and Champagne Silver
The X-Trail, arriving in India as a CBU, is estimated to cost roughly ₹40 lakh ex-showroom.
Nissan X-Trail features
A 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine with a maximum power output of 162 bhp and a peak torque output of 300 Nm will power the Nissan X-Trail. It is coupled to a CVT automatic transmission and features a 12V mild-hybrid system.
The X-Trail boasts a plethora of features, including cruise control, a multifunction steering wheel, digital driver’s display, wireless charging, keyless entry with an engine start/stop button, dual-zone temperature control and much more.
Among the safety features are traction control, a limited-slip differential, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, automatic wipers, ABS with EBD and seven airbags. The overall size of the X-Trail is 1,725 mm in height, 1,840 mm in width, and 4,680 mm in length.
