Force Motors, a leading Indian manufacturer of commercial and utility vehicles, has released its sales figures for the month of March 2025. The company reported a robust year-on-year growth in domestic sales, reflecting a positive trend in the commercial vehicle market. However, exports experienced a significant dip during the same period.
Domestic Sales: Strong Growth of 11% in March 2025
In the domestic market, Force Motors sold 3,606 units of its Small Commercial Vehicles (SCV), Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV), Utility Vehicles (UV), and Sports Utility Vehicles (SUV) in March 2025, compared to 3,248 units sold in March 2024. This represents a healthy 11.02% year-on-year growth, underlining the company’s strong performance in the domestic automotive segment.
Export Sales: Sharp Decline of Over 77%
On the export front, the company sold only 94 units in March 2025, as against 420 units in March 2024. This marks a significant decline of 77.62% in export volumes, suggesting a possible shift in international demand or logistical constraints affecting global deliveries.
Overall Sales: Marginal Growth in Combined Domestic and Export Figures
Despite the sharp drop in exports, the overall sales for March 2025 (Domestic + Export) stood at 3,700 units, slightly up from 3,668 units in March 2024. This translates to a modest 0.87% growth year-on-year.
The double-digit growth in domestic sales highlights Force Motors’ continued strength in its core commercial and utility vehicle segments. While the export figures may raise short-term concerns, the company’s focus on domestic market expansion and product innovation is expected to drive future performance.
