Ferrari is set to make history by unveiling its first fully electric vehicle (EV) on October 9, 2025. The Italian marque will officially showcase the groundbreaking model during its Capital Markets Day in Maranello, Italy. CEO Benedetto Vigna confirmed the much-anticipated debut while discussing the company’s 2024 financial results.
While the official name and specifications remain under wraps, recent spy shots suggest the EV might take the form of a grand tourer (GT) or crossover. Camouflaged prototypes spotted in Maranello feature a four-door hatchback design, complete with fake exhaust tips and simulated engine sounds.
Ferrari plans to introduce six new models in 2025, including the electric vehicle. With the discontinuation of the SF90 Stradale, a hybrid successor is expected among the upcoming releases. However, the specifics of the remaining five models have not yet been disclosed.
In 2024, Ferrari sold 13,752 cars, reflecting an increase of 89 units from the previous year. The company reported €2.56 billion in profits and projects earnings of €2.68 billion for 2025, driven by new model launches. Notably, hybrid vehicles accounted for 51% of Ferrari’s total deliveries in 2024, highlighting the brand’s transition towards electrification.
