While it sets to debut an entirely new body style in a crowded category, Citroen India is updating two of its existing options to keep them relevant. Citroen unveiled the Basalt Coupe SUV with the upgraded C3 hatchback and C3 Aircross SUV, which now have features that had been severely missing since the two vehicles went on sale. The updated equipment lists for both models are anticipated to be on sale in the upcoming weeks, although the added kit may result in a significant price rise.
With pricing starting at Rs 6.16 lakh for the base “Live” model, the C3 is Citroen’s most affordable vehicle in India. The upgrade adds projector LED headlights to the Citroen C3, as well as turn indicators placed into the wing mirrors, which also have an auto-fold feature.
The biggest additions have been made inside C3, with the exterior remaining mostly unchanged. The C3 will now come equipped with automatic temperature control and a 7.0-inch full-digital instrument display.
Six airbags are included in the car and the rear power window buttons are now situated on individual door cards instead of behind the hand brake.
