BMW Motorrad launches 2025 S 1000 RR in India at Rs 21.90 lakh; Check features

BMW Motorrad India has unveiled the 2025 S 1000 RR litre-class sportbike at Bharat Mobility 2025, bringing a range of updates to enhance both performance and aesthetics. Priced at ₹21.90 lakh (ex-showroom), the new S 1000 RR builds on its legacy, offering improved aerodynamics and advanced electronics.

Design and Features: The 2025 model features redesigned bodywork with a more curvy headlamp cowl and larger winglets, which closely resemble the BMW M 1000 RR. These larger winglets not only add to the bike’s aggressive look but also enhance downforce for improved stability, particularly on the track. The fairings have an asymmetrical design, with an exit vent on the left and gills on the right, while the brake cooling ducts are integrated into the front fender for better disc cooling.

Electronic aids have been upgraded, with the introduction of the new Pro riding mode and M Quick-Action throttle as standard. Other features include traction control, slide control, launch control, ABS with brake slide assist, and a bi-directional quickshifter for enhanced ride quality.

Hardware: The 2025 S 1000 RR continues with its proven 6-speed gearbox and other advanced hardware components. The bike offers four ride modes—Rain, Road, Dynamic, and Race—making it a versatile choice for both everyday riders and track enthusiasts.
