Bajaj teases India launch of Pulsar NS400 ahead of May 3; Everything you need to know

Bajaj Auto has released the first teaser for their biggest Pulsar ever on their social media account. The forthcoming Bajaj Pulsar NS400 will be the brand’s flagship bike, with the fastest and biggest engine of any bike the company has ever produced. Ahead of the May 3, 2024 launch, the company has hinted at the comeback of ‘The Fastest Indian,’ a term that was once synonymous with the Pulsar 220F.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS400’s tyre hugger is shown in the teaser video, which also suggests that the bike accelerates quickly. It is anticipated that the new model will be equipped with the newly developed 399 cc single-cylinder engine, which was co-developed with KTM and powers the KTM 390 Duke. However, in order to keep operating costs low, this engine may be re-tuned to produce somewhat less power and torque than the KTM.

The Pulsar NS200 and Dominar 400, which got re-tuned engines compared to their KTM rivals, also showed a similar understanding.

With a 6-speed gearbox, expect power numbers of about 40 bhp and 35–37 Nm of peak torque. A digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, all-LED lighting, USD front forks, disc brakes, dual-channel ABS, and potential traction control are among the features we expect to see.
