The Aston Martin Valhalla is ready to enter production after nearly five years since its debut. First revealed in 2019, this cutting-edge supercar combines thrilling performance with hybrid technology, promising to make waves in the luxury automotive world.
At its core, the Valhalla boasts a twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 engine sourced from Mercedes, delivering an impressive 817 hp. Paired with three electric motors—two on the front axle and one integrated with the transmission—the Valhalla achieves a jaw-dropping total output of 1,064 hp and 1,099 Nm of torque. This power propels the car from 0-100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, making it a true beast on the road.
Aston Martin’s innovation extends beyond raw power. The Valhalla features an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, but it skips a traditional reverse gear. Instead, its front electric motors handle reversing and can power the car during low-speed commutes, improving fuel efficiency and driving comfort.
Built on a lightweight carbon-fibre tub with aluminium subframes, the Valhalla weighs only 1,655 kg. A 6.0 kWh battery pack ensures efficient energy use, supported by regenerative braking. With an exclusive production run initially limited to 500 units, Aston Martin has now increased it to 999, underscoring the car’s high demand.
