Aston Martin has unveiled the 2025 Vantage Roadster, following the launch of its Vantage Coupe sibling. Expected to debut in India in 2025, this stunning convertible blends breathtaking performance with luxury, boasting significant upgrades over its predecessor.
2025 Aston Martin Vantage Roadster features
Under the hood lies a reworked 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 sourced from Mercedes-AMG, delivering an impressive 665hp and 800Nm of torque. This is a notable leap from the earlier 512hp model, putting it ahead of rivals like the Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS Cabriolet and Ferrari Roma Spider. With a 0-96kph time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 325kph, the Roadster is only marginally slower than the Coupe, which achieves the sprint in 3.4 seconds.
The Roadster’s aluminum chassis has been stiffened to enhance driving dynamics while maintaining a near-perfect 49:51 weight distribution. Suspension duties are handled by double wishbones at the front and a multi-link setup at the rear, ensuring precision handling.
Adding to its allure, the Roadster features the fastest-folding roof in the market, opening or closing in just 6.8 seconds at speeds up to 50kph—much quicker than the Ferrari Roma Spider’s 13.5 seconds.
Visually, the Roadster sports a wider stance, a larger grille, and a near-identical design to the Coupe. Inside, the cabin is modern and luxurious, featuring a 10.25-inch touchscreen, digital driver’s display, wireless smartphone mirroring, and a suite of advanced features, including optional Bowers & Wilkins surround sound.
