Aprilia has recently introduced the all-new 457, a striking addition to the brand’s lineup and the second motorcycle built on the innovative 457 platform, which debuted with the RS 457.
At the front, the Tuono 457 features a compact, bug-like headlamp unit integrated with LED DRLs, complemented by a contrasting red spoiler beneath it. While it lacks a windscreen, the bike is equipped with a TFT colour display positioned just above the headlamp.
The side profile retains the fuel tank design from the RS 457, enhanced by robust radiator shrouds that contribute to its aggressive aesthetics. The two-piece seat has a rider height of 800 mm, ensuring comfort and control.
Powering the Aprilia Tuono 457 is the impressive 457 cc parallel-twin engine sourced from the RS 457, delivering 47 bhp and 43.5 Nm of torque through a 6-speed gearbox. Riders will enjoy three distinct ride modes and essential rider aids such as traction control and ABS. Aprilia is expected to enhance the bike’s performance with a slightly shorter final drive ratio, optimizing low-end power and improving the power-to-weight ratio due to its lower kerb weight.
The Tuono 457 will be suspended by the same preload-adjustable USD fork setup in front and a preload-adjustable monoshock in the back. It will use the same braking system as the RS 457, which consists of disc brakes on both ends.
