Aprilia RS 457 now priced at Rs 4.20 lakh after latest price hike

Aprilia has announced a price revision for its popular supersport motorcycle, the RS 457, in India. The motorcycle, which was previously available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 4.10 lakh, will now retail for Rs 4.20 lakh. This marks a Rs 10,000 increase in its price. The RS 457, launched in December 2023, is Aprilia’s first motorcycle to be manufactured in India at the Piaggio Group’s Baramati facility in Maharashtra.

In addition to the RS 457, Aprilia is gearing up to introduce its naked counterpart, the Tuono 457, to the Indian market. First unveiled at EICMA 2024, the Tuono 457 retains the same 457 cc engine and mechanical components as the RS 457 but comes in a more street-oriented package. The pricing details for the Tuono 457 in India are expected to be revealed in the coming months.
