Greaves Electric Mobility Limited (GEML), the electric mobility business of Greaves Cotton Limited (GCL), has announced the launch of the all-new Ampere Reo 80 – an affordable electric scooter designed for daily use across India.

The Reo 80 is positioned as a low-speed, feature-rich electric vehicle aimed at first-time EV buyers, students, senior citizens, and families. With a starting price of ₹59,900, the Reo 80 is part of Ampere’s strategy to expand electric mobility access through its “Har Gully Electric” initiative.

According to Vahan data, Greaves Electric Mobility reported a 52% month-on-month growth in March 2025, with sales exceeding 6,000 electric two-wheelers. This growth reflects increasing consumer interest in affordable electric mobility options.
