2025 Lexus LX 500d bookings halted in India

Lexus India has temporarily stopped accepting bookings for its flagship diesel SUV, the LX 500d, as reported by Autocar India. Launched in 2022 at ₹2.82 crore (ex-showroom), the LX 500d is the luxury counterpart of the Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 and stands out as Lexus’ longest SUV at 5,100mm.

Under the hood, the LX 500d packs a 3.3-litre V6 diesel engine, delivering 308hp and 700Nm of torque. Paired with a 10-speed automatic gearbox and AWD, this massive SUV impressively sprints from 0-100 km/h in just 8 seconds, despite weighing over 3 tonnes. It rides on 22-inch alloy wheels, offering a blend of performance and luxury.

Inside, the SUV boasts a 12.3-inch touchscreen, 25-speaker audio system, ventilated seats, and a sunroof. Safety is top-notch with 10 airbags, ABS, hill assist, VSC, and TPMS.
