Yamaha’s most affordable scooter has received a minor update with the introduction of a new version. This new ‘S’ model is available in three matte colours and has an exclusive new function. This new ‘Answer Back’ feature is app-based and can only be accessed through the Yamaha mobile app.
This function is referred to as ‘Yamaha Scooter Answer Back’, and enabling it will assist you in locating your scooter. The left and right indicators as well as a two-second horn sound are activated when the function is activated. Other than this, the Fascino remains unchanged for 2024. It still has a 125cc single-cylinder engine that generates 10.3 Nm and 8.2hp. The Fascino weighs 99 kg and features a 21-liter underseat storage capacity.
There are three different models of the Fascino available: Drum, Disc and S. The Disc model costs Rs 91,130 (ex-showroom Delhi), while the entry-level Drum variant starts at Rs 79,900 (ex-showroom Delhi). The S variant begins at Rs 93,730 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the matte red or matte black colour. The matte dark blue, on the other hand, costs Rs 94,530 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is currently competing with models such as the Suzuki Access 125, Honda Activa 125, TVS Jupiter 125, Yamaha Ray ZR 125 and Hero Destini 125 Xtec.
