2024 Honda Amaze set to launch on December 4; Here’s what to expect

Honda Cars India has confirmed that the highly anticipated third-generation Honda Amaze will be launched on December 4, 2024. Set to compete with the soon-to-launch Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor, the 2024 Amaze brings new design elements and improved features to the sub-compact sedan segment.

Honda recently unveiled the 2024 Amaze’s first teaser photos, which featured a glimpse at the subcompact sedan’s front design. The 2024 Honda Amaze will be based on the design language of the Honda Accord, which is now available in global markets, as well as design cues from the Honda City and Elevate.

The 2024 Honda Amaze’s headlights have been updated to feature sharp edges and a significantly sleeker appearance than the previous generation.  Higher variants are set to come with LED projector headlights, while LED daytime running lights are now integrated at the top of the headlamp unit, seamlessly merging into the grille. These headlamp units resemble those found in the Honda Elevate, adding a sense of continuity across Honda’s model range.

Under the hood, the third-generation Honda Amaze is expected to carry forward the proven 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine, producing 89 bhp and 110 Nm of torque. Honda is likely to offer this engine with a choice of a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic gearbox.
