Honda has launched the new-generation Amaze, priced from ₹8 lakh (ex-showroom). This subcompact sedan comes with a fresh design, enhanced features, and improved performance, ready to rival the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor.
Engine & Mileage
The 2025 Honda Amaze retains the 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 89 bhp and 110 Nm of torque. It’s available with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic, the only CVT option in its class. The manual offers a claimed mileage of 18.65 kmpl, while the CVT delivers 19.46 kmpl (ARAI certified). Honda has fine-tuned the manual for better pickup and the CVT for a more engaging drive.
Space & Features
With 416 litres of boot space (34 litres more than before), improved rear-seat comfort, and a ground clearance of 172 mm, the new Amaze is more practical. It offers premium features like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, auto climate control, wireless charging, Type-C ports, rear AC vents, and a lane-watch camera. Safety is upgraded with six airbags and Level 2 ADAS, making it India’s most affordable car with advanced driver-assistance systems.
