Flipkart temporarily suspends all services amid COVID-19 lockdown

India’s one of the top e-commerce company Flipkart has temporarily suspended all its services after PM Narendra Modi announced the3 weeks country-wide lockdown in order to curtail the spread of COVID-19. Flipkart, whose services include grocery item deliveries, did not say how long the suspension would last.

PM Narendra Modi on 24 March, Tuesday announced complete lockdown of all states (including Union territories) as the number of coronavirus cases touched 560. The government has also said that all essential services (like grocery items, milk, medical store etc) will continue to be available despite the lockdown. However, all public transport facilities and other measures has been suspended.
