On Wednesday, as the political crisis worsened in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena spokesperson and MP Sanjay Raut made a very eye-grabbing tweet stating that the situation in Maharashtra is headed towards ‘dissolution’ of the Legislative Assembly.

While interacting with the media briefly, Raut said, “At the most what will happen.. Our government will lose the majority in the state. We can always return to power, but the party’s image is above all..”

He also said that it’s not easy for the Sena or the rebel Minister Eknath Shinde to leave each other. Since they share a long standing relationship.

The Shiv Sena has a cabinet meeting scheduled for Today which Uddhav Thackeray might chair via video conferencing to discuss the whole situation at hand.

Due to the current political turmoil in the state. Moreover, there has been a call for protest against Eknath Shinde by Party workers and Shiv Sainiks. Shiv Sena women workers in Aurangabad also broke down and wept as they protested against rebel leader Eknath Shinde who has led to ongoing instability.

All eyes are currently on the Cabinet Meeting that will take place shortly.
