He had apologized for the unfortunate developments related to the Agriculture Bills discussion during the session in Rajya Sabha yesterday.

“I am a senior Member of Parliament, I have apologised for what happened in the House, but I didn’t get any response. I found this very insulting. My party has decided to boycott the entire session,” he said. He had said in the parliament yesterday that the Centre is rushing the Agriculture Bills and not consulting the farmers.

SP now joins several other opposition parties like Congress, Trinamool Congress, CPI(M) who have decided to boycott the parliamentary session over the suspension of 8 MPs for ‘unruly behaviour’ and the ‘unparliamentary passing’ of the Agriculture Bills in Rajya Sabha yesterday.
