PM Modi slams Congress on controversy over surgical strikes

In a rally in Pathankot of Punjab Modi charges Congress of doing its ‘Paap Leela’ during the Pulwama anniversary.

PM Narendra Modi has charged Congress with disregarding and humiliating the selfless sacrifices of the Indian army who lost their lives in the 2016 Pulwama terrorist attack.

Except for the Congress Party, the entire country was together in the retaliatory attack. “They want proof and they questioned the government, people of Punjab and our army”, said Modi. He further added, ” They continued their ‘Paap Leela’ even on the Pulwama anniversary.”

On February 14th, 2019 Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) a Pakistani terror group had brought down a convoy of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir; it cost India 45 of its brave soldiers.

Rahul Gandhi, Congress MP was accused by the BJP for questioning about the ‘surgical strikes’ carried out by the Indian forces which was a retaliatory move to the Pulwama attack. A couple of days post the attack, Indian offensive warplanes hit the largest JeM base camp in Pakistan’s Balakot area.

In a severe attack on Congress, PM Modi also charges AAP and Congress to be partners in crime. He says AAP is a photocopy of the Congress Party. Both the parties are never happy with the Ayodhya temple or the army for any of their contributions.

PM Modi told a cheering audience during the election rally in Punjab’s Pathankot not to tolerate the Congress people if one party looted Punjab the other corrupt Delhi.

In his rally speech the PM also brought up the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor – This is the road that is the final resting place of Guru Nanak in Pakistan. He states that Congress had left the Kartarpur Gurudwara in Pakistan. “Shouldn’t they have made efforts to keep it in India? In 1965, had they put some effort, Gurunanak’s birthplace would have been in India,” he further added.

PM Modi promised to develop and make profitable the farming, trade and industry in the next 5 years if people voted the BJP led party to form a government in the state.
