Over 75,000 people to gather for mega swearing-in ceremony of Yogi Adityanath

The all-new Yogi Adityanath-led government in Uttar Pradesh is preparing for the mega swearing-in event of the newly-elected BJP government on March 25. Officials announced seating structure for 75,000 people will be executed at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium. The BJP had won 255 seats in the 403-member assembly in UP, while its allies gained 18 Assembly seats.

Yogi and his cabinet ministers will take the oath of office at the event on March 25, which will begin at 4 PM.

Additional Chief Secretary (information) Navneet Sehgal after his visit to the ground asserted that the altogether preparations for the swearing-in ceremony are in full swing and that Chief Secretary DS Mishra is supervising the whole schedule.

“Seating arrangements for 75,000 people are being prepared at the swearing-in ceremony. The ceremony will be a huge and splendid one, and preparations are already underway,” Mishra said as per PTI.

All senior leaders comprising Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP national president JP Nadda and other central ministers will be attending the event.

The chief ministers of BJP-ruled states, RSS VIP and party office-bearers are predicted to arrive at the function. Top leaders of other parties are also invited to the swearing-in event. Ahead of the ceremony, Adityanath will be chosen as the leader of the legislature party. It’ll be his succeeding term as the chief minister of the state.
