NCP flays Modi government over atrocities on Dalits

The NCP state chief spokesperson Mahesh Tapase on Wednesday said dalits atrocities have been on rise in the country since BJP came to power.

Aurangabad, May 11: The NCP state chief spokesperson Mahesh Tapase on Wednesday said dalits atrocities have been on rise in the country since BJP came to power. In his press statement , Mr Tapase stated that,village strongman in Pavti village, Muzaffarpur village, UP openly announced punishment of 50 shoe slaps, the penalty of Rs 5000 and other dire consequences to dalit citizens if they dared to come near farm or tube well. ”Is this sabka sath and sabka vikas,” asked Mr Tapase. “Dalits are not safe in BJP ruled states. Hence Prime Minister Narendra Modi should personally assure the safety of Dalits in the country”. He demanded.
