Mehbooba Mufti mocks Kovind for Article 370 Abrogation when interestingly J&K violence down by 45%

Mehbooba Mufti commented on Ramnath Kovind, Jammu Kashmir Violence has declined according to the latest report provided by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

As the 15th President of India took oath in office in a very gallant ceremony in the Central Hall of the Parliament. Following the ceremony as the outgoing President President Ramnath Kovind left Rashtrapati Bhavan, the former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir tweeted stating that Mr Ramnath Kovind had been previously associated with many digress policies that were brought forward by the ruling BJP government. She had accused the former President of leading the country and its constitution into some “umpteen times”.

“The outgoing President leaves behind a legacy where the Indian Constitution was trampled upon umpteenth times. Be it scrapping of Article 370, CAA or the unabashed targeting of minorities & Dalits, he fulfilled BJP’s political agenda at the cost of the Indian Constitution”. Mehbooba Mufti, the chief of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).  Union law minister Kiren Rijuju had sent out a statement calling the tweet to be not taken seriously.
On the opposite side of the tweet Tejasvi Surya, BJP MP called out the policies implemented by the BJP government. And tweeted about how since the abrogation of Article 370 education quality has gone up in Kashmir. As well as how there is equality among the people living there. Mehbooba Mufti had also pointed out that the aggressive policies implemented by the government had destroyed the constitution.

 

In the case of Kashmir, a recent question was raised in Rajya Sabha. On the recent report of terrorism in the state. Further, Union Minister of Home Affairs Nityandra Rai had given his reply to question in the following manner. Hence, he stated that the Central government has a “policy of zero tolerance against terrorism and the security situation has greatly improved in Jammu and Kashmir” in a written response to Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge. According to the Minister of State for Home Affairs, there were a total of 229 terrorist acts registered in 2021, 244 in 2020, 255 in 2019, and 417 in 2018. Therefore he had concluded that the terroist attacks have declined since 2018.

 

Mehbooba Mufti contradicts herself? 

Furthermore, Rai reported that 42 members of the security forces died. As a result of these attacks in the Union Territory in 2021. The years prior had 62 deaths of security officers in 2020, 80 in 2019 and 91 in 2018. “The steadfast implementation of the national policy and action plan to address Left Wing Extremism (LWE) 2015 has resulted. In a consistent decline in LWE violence”. Rai stated in a written response to Congress MP Akhilesh Prasad Singh’s inquiry.
