The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Suvendu Adhikari defeats All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee on Sunday, in the state assembly elections 2021.
However, TMC is looking in a brilliant position as per trends available till now and eyeing to form government for third consecutive time. And so, Banerjee thanked everyone and requested to not take out victory processions.
Furthermore, she also urged everyone to return to their homes and mentioned that she would address the media after 6 pm.

The counting of votes for the state assembly elections in West Bengal, Kerala, Assam, Tamil Nadu and the union territory of Puducherry began at 8.00 am today.
