Delegation of BJP leaders led by Devendra Fadnavis meets Maharashtra Governor BS Koshyari

BJP leaders led by Devendra Fadnavis met Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari today at Raj Bhavan to submit their memorandum.

On Wednesday , March 24, BJP delegation led by Devendra Fadnavis met Maharashtra Governor over the current situation of Maharashtra.

The meeting was related to the allegation raised by former Mumbai Police Commissioner on Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh that Anil Deshmukh had indulged in malpractices and ordered suspended API Sachin Vaze to collect Rs 100 crore every month from bars and restaurants around the city.

Sudhir Mungantiwar, Maharashtra BJP President told that, “We requested Governor to ask for a report from Maharashtra Chief Minister on various issues related to governance and corona in the state. We also requested him to intervene in corruption-related issue,” as quoted by ANI.

Maharashtra former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis told to media, “Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi (MVA) has lost moral ground, they are working only for power. After so many incidents, Maharashtra CM is silence, Pawar Sahab held two press conference, he just tried to protect the minister.”

Devendra Fadnavis further added, “If they have to register a case about leaking official secrets, I have done that for Maharashtra’s interest. If they file a case against me, I’m not afraid. If there are 4 more cases against me, I’m ready. I will go to court and prove my point.”

Addressing the Media , Devendra Fadnavis raised the question on the administration of COVID-19, as the case in Maharashtra is raising rapidly as 28,669 new cases has been registered in the last 24 hours.

Devendra Fadnavis said, “This Govt is not bothered about the COVID-19 situation in the state. The way in which cases are increasing here, it has become the epicentre. I don’t understand what has this government done to control it? It is time to act & not give lectures” as quoted by ANI.
