The Bharatiya Janata Party has marked its 42nd anniversary on Wednesday. JP Nadda, the BJP’s president, hoisted the flag at the party’s headquarters and laid flowers on the statues of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya.
A blood donation camp will also be held at the party’s headquarters. “On the BJP’s foundation day, April 6, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address all BJP workers, ministers, MPs, and MLAs. Meetings and conferences on the issue of social justice will be held across the country from April 7 to April 20,” according to BJP national general secretary Arun Singh.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver a video message to party workers across the country at 10 am. At 11 am Nadda will take part in a procession in Karol Bagh. Between April 7 and 20, the party will hold “Samajik Nyay Pakhwara.”
“For 15 days, BJP workers will assist in the outreach of the central government’s welfare schemes at the district and mandal levels through social justice programmes. One welfare scheme will be the focus of each day,” Singh said. Envoys from various countries will pay a visit to the BJP’s headquarters in New Delhi.
