On the other hand, Additional Solicitor General S.V. Raju has continuously opposed the bail. Citing that Satyendra Jain was a public servant who had engaged himself in a money laundering case. And is expected to be associated with hawala channels. And these reasons are not suited for the granting of bail, as reported by ANI News Agency. “He is influential, he may influence the witnesses as the investigation is still going on,” ANI said citing ASG.

He had repeatedly pointed out that Jain did not aid the investigation that was launched. Also, might be capable of using his influence to persuade the case in a wrong direction if bail was granted to him. The ED had launched a probe on Jain. Thus, after an FIR was filed by CBI under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
